PM Shehbaz Sharif reaches Lahore after completing Saudi visit

LAHORE (92 News) – Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday reached Lahore after attending the special session of the World Economic Forum.

Talking to the media, the prime minister termed the visit of historic importance. “A new era of economic partnership has started between both countries,” he declared.

The prime minister said that a delegation of Saudi businessmen would visit Pakistan in the next few days. “The arrival of the Saudi delegation will speed up the economic partnership,” he added.

On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, the prime minister met with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Kuwait Emir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Saudi ministers.
